Biography:
Alex Incyde hails from Boston, Massachusetts. He first started buying records and DJing in late 2004 after becoming fascinated with the sounds of electronic music. In 2006 he was exposed to dubstep music while studying for a term at Goldsmiths College in London. Upon returning home he began collecting and DJing dubstep records, before returning to the UK for six months in 2007 to pursue an internship at Hotflush Recordings in London. While there, he became completely enveloped in the sound and the scene surrounding it, and began a weekly internet radio show on Sub FM, which was voted Best Dubstep Radio Station by Mixmag. After returning to Boston where he still resides, he continues to co-run Hotflush Recordings. Recently he played a b2b set with DJ Pandai'a at the legendary DUB WAR party in New York City, and regularly plays at local Boston nights. His show on Sub FM is every Wednesday evening from 12-2am UK time (7-9pm EST), on www.subfm.com. |
